Corporate crime? I'm not sure that there is such a thing. If we want to reduce the crimes that are given that lable, and we need to finish impose punitive fines for large companies. The idea is not radical as it sounds.
First of all, when I say that there is no such thing corporate crime, simply means that there are always individuals who commit crimes. With that in mind, you can imagine what is the best way for me to reduce this crime is: Go after the criminals!

Exactly who pays when a large company fined for violating the law? To begin with, and pay equity. Many of these are retirees of innocent people who have money invested with the company and had no idea they were violating the law. Then pay the workers with the loss of jobs, in the case of damage to the financial situation of the company through fines. Who does not pay? Only the criminals - individuals who have chosen to break the law.
And all crimes committed by people, not companies. When a company dumps toxins in the environment, has made a decision of the people to do this (or several people). Individuals make when a company steals from the retirement fund, or violate the rights of workers, those decisions. People commit crimes, companies, not companies.
